Guided by the Department of Climate Change of the Ministry of Ecology and Environment, the 13th High-Level Forum on South-South Cooperation on Climate Change, co-organized by the Foreign Environmental Cooperation Center of the Ministry of Ecology and Environment, the National Center for Climate Change Strategy and International Cooperation, and the Belt and Road Initiative International Green Development Coalition, will be held at the China Pavilion during COP30 from 14:30 to 17:30 on November 10, local time in Brazil.

Under the theme of "Together for a Green Future — South-South Cooperation for Global Climate Governance", this forum aims to build up consensus among Global South countries in addressing climate change, deepen South-South cooperation within the Belt and Road framework, jointly advance green and low-carbon modernization, and explore new pathways for sustainable development.

During the forum, initiatives related to South-South cooperation on climate change will be launched, and multiple cooperation agreements will be signed, demonstrating the proactive actions and firm commitment of all sides in jointly tackling climate change and promoting global green transformation.

Ministerial-level representatives from relevant countries, high-level representatives of international organizations, experts, scholars, and private sector will be invited to discuss pathways for deepening South-South cooperation in the context of new landscape of global climate governance. Participants are expected to contribute wisdom to enhancing exchanges and collaboration among developing countries and facilitating practical cooperation and experience sharing.
