Multilateral Cooperation
  

In the field of multilateral cooperation, FECO is mandated to develop, implement and manage the projects in cooperation with the World Bank, the Asian Development Bank, United Nations and other multilateral organizations, as well as some private organizations. Activities of these projects include technical assistances, policy research, capacity building and personnel training. FECO is also in charge of introducing conventional funds, experiences, advanced technologies and consulting services from the multilateral organizations, which will benefit the Ministry of Environmental Protection (MEP) and other Chinese environmental agencies in macroscopic policy research, regulation making, institutional construction, personnel training, etc. It also provides policy support for multilateral environment cooperation; undertakes policy research and collects important documents and information in the area of multilateral cooperation.
