Climate change is a major global challenge, it calls the cooperation among countries all over the world. China stays committed to assisting developing countries to strive for low-carbon development. In order to strengthen the cooperation with African countries and enhancing their capacity to addressing climate change, guided by the Department of Climate Change of Ministry of Ecology and Environment (MEE) of the People’s Republic of China, Foreign Environmental Cooperation Center (FECO) will organize the China-Africa South-South Cooperation Capacity Building workshop on Climate Change, Green & Low-Carbon Development, which will be held online during October 31-November 4, 2022.
On behalf of FECO, it is my pleasure to extend an invitation to participants from Africa countries to take part in this workshop. To enhance the understanding of China and global experiences on climate change, the lectures on global climate change governance, China's climate change strategies, case study for South-South cooperation projects, city practices on climate change, low-carbon energy development and green technologies will be introduced.
